The Community Associations Institute is a national, non-profit educational and resource organization formed in 1973 to distribute guidance on homeowner associations and their shared facilities in condominiums, cluster housing, planned unit developments and open space communities.

The many members of the San Diego Chapter and Greater Inland Empire Chapter of the Community Associations Institute tackle association concerns and provide assistances at the local and grass-roots level.
